No One Likes a Piggyback

Good morning, Ashby!!

Today I'd like to share some information about a habit called piggy-backing. This is when you let someone you don't know or recognize into the building with you when you enter or exit the building. I know it is a natural habit to hold the door open to someone. However, this is a safety issue.

Here are a few tips on how to keep from allowing someone into the building that doesn't belong:
1. Ask them if they live in the building. If they answer no, tell them they'll need their friend to come escort them.
2. Shut the door behind you when you leave.
3. If you hit the handicap button to open the door, make sure it closes before someone comes in after you in the building.

This is for your own safety that I share this information. We do not want strangers coming into our building or even guests coming in without their escort. No one likes a piggyback!

As always- come see me with any questions!
Until next time...

this has nothing to do with piggyback people, but did the trash cans in the hallways go away due to people putting their trash bags in them???

Yes, the housekeeping staff decided to take them away because trash was being piled up into them and personal trash from rooms was being placed in the cans as well.
