Would YOU like to be featured in Ashby Connections? There are several ways to participate!
1. Be a featured resident!
Send a picture and a short paragraph biography to woodyst@dukes.jmu.edu. Biographies will be added as they are received! Look back to the Meet Your Staff entry to get ideas of what kind of information to include.
2. Submit topics of interest!
Have you read a cool article you want to share? Have you learned something in class or through involvement in a student organization that would benefit others? Do you have a favorite website such as thedailykitten.com or addictinggames.com that you think others would love? Feel free to send anything intellectually stimulating, fun, informative, or downright silly to woodyst@dukes.jmu.edu.
3. Share information about upcoming events!
Thursdays are College is More Than Just Classes! which highlights different activities going on around JMU and Harrisonburg. If you have an event that you would like to submit for posting, email woodyst@dukes.jmu.edu with the date/time, location, title, and a brief description (1-2 sentences).
All submissions will be posted to the blog as are recieved, so keep checking to see your contributions make it to the blog. Happy sharing!!
